What to Expect

The people at Concordia Lutheran Church would love to have you join us for worship on any Sunday morning!  We are all different ages, family sizes, and backgrounds.  We want you to feel welcome at Concordia!

When you arrive, you are welcome to park in our parking lot located in front of the church building, or along the street on Circle Dr.

If you have difficulty walking up and down steps, there is an entrance to the church with an elevator conviently located at the side of the parking lot.

Concordia is a traditional Lutheran congregation that usually worships following a service out of the hymnal Lutheran Service Book.  If you are not familiar with a hymnal, almost all services are printed out in a bulletin to make it easier to follow along in the service and to respond along with everyone else.  Most of the hymns and songs that are sung are led by an organ.

If you are wondering what to wear, there is a wide range of clothing choices at Concordia.  Some people wear their Sunday best, others show up in T-shirts and shorts.  Whatever you wear, we will welcome you with open arms.

Concordia loves having children worshipping with us!  If you have small children and are worried about them disrupting the service, stop worrying!  We love hearing babies cry in the service.  The pastor often has a childrens message during the service. We have special bags to hand out to young children to help them sit through a service.  We have a changing table in the basement along with space to play and move if a child get a little out of control.  While you are in the basement, you won't miss anything because speakers are turned on for your convience.  Plus children 3 and older are welcome to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00am for Sunday School!
